SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM

Secret Hotels are developing, in all its hotels, environmental programs to minimize its environmental footprint. By implementing certified sustainability programs such as “Green Key” we aim to provide high quality services while respecting both the environment and the local communities. Finally, in order to ensure the hygiene and quality of the food we provide to our guests, we pass controls to obtain the HACCP certification.

Secret Hotels Actions

Driven by a high sense of responsibility towards sustainable development, we take the following actions.

LED lighting in all hotel facilities
Adjustment of air conditioners to a temperature that ensures maximum comfort and optimal energy consumption.
Magnetic card in all suites and villas, which ensures that all electrical appliances are switched off when guests leave their rooms.
Installation of energy efficient electrical equipment in all areas, such as A++++ air conditioning systems, refrigerators, computers, photocopiers.
Established procedures for the maintenance and proper cleaning of all energy installations.

At Secret Hotels we recognize the significance of water for both human life and nature. Secret Hotels’ sustainability program places a strong emphasis on water conservation, thereby actively demonstrating our commitment to environmental protection.

At Secret Hotels we choose to use certified cleaning products and chemicals with environmentally friendly specifications, both in terms of packaging and composition. In this way we achieve an excellent balance between cleaning efficiency and environmental protection.

We support the local communities in which we operate, choosing to work with local suppliers both for the construction and renovation of Secret Hotels and for the purchase of products, supporting local economies and promoting Greek gastronomy.
